Japanese Medium and Small - Sized Enterprises

The Way to Sucess

   After joining WTO, Vietnam has developed its dynamic economy with the appearance of medium and small-sized enterprises. The survival of these enterprises directly influences the national economy. So, besides the appropriate economic policies, studying the experiences of the developed countries is inevitable. Japan possesses a highly-developed economy and effectively-run medium and small sized enterprises, having overcome many economic crises. Moreover, Japan , an Asian country, which has many features similar to Vietnam in the aspects of culture and economy, is the most potential investor in Vietnamese market. As a result of this, studying the experiences of Japanese medium and small-sized enterprises will be an indirect level that makes Vietnamese economy develop stably. It is this aim that CVSEAS decided on organizing the conference named “Japanese medium and small-sized enterprises – The way to success” with the sponsorship from Japan Foundation and support from General Consulate of Japan .

Economists from Japan , Korea , Taiwan , Thailand , Indonesia ... will present their studies on medium and small-sized enterprises, looking for the know-how of the success, which is an invaluable lesson for Asian countries. With the desire of promoting the cooperation among the countries in the region, enlarging the international exchanges, CVSEAS are inviting those who are interested in these issues to contribute conference essays.

1. Information on the conference:       

Time: June 11-12, 2009 (whole day)      

Venue: University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU-HCMC (10-12 Đinh Tiên Hoàng Str., District 1, HCMC)

Language used: English

2. Registration:

Those who want to participate in the conference should send a short report relevant to the issues of the conference and the personal information in tandem with the following items:

+ Name of report and abstract: not more than 400 words in English.

+ Personal curriculum vitae: Full name, nationality, sex, organization and work position, highest degree or title, profession, email address, telephone number, address.

+ The way to compose the reports: use Unicode (Times New Roman font); size 13 (in the table, use size 11); line spacing: single line; tabs: 1.27. Size of page: Top 2.54 cm; Bottom 2.9 cm; Left 3.17 cm; Right 3.17 cm.

+ Deadline of the whole text of the reports: June 1, 2009
